As a peer mentor, I organized and led the Step 1 Maker Jigsaw in several Step 1 classes. The Step 1 Maker Jigsaw introduces Step 1 students to making by showing them some technologies and resources to get them started making. I usually led the demo on scratch, but we also demoed makeymakey, circuit playground, and instructables.

Through my internship with MathHappens, I had the opportunity to introduce math concepts outside of the classroom(library, field trips). I also helped out at the UTeach STEM Educators Conference in 2018.

I volunteered at the Maker Faire Austin in 2018.

I created an instagram page to quickly document my maker journey. I also used it to connect with the larger maker community
